WeThePeopleReports.com is a privately held, nonpartisan website created to publish official documents and public meeting records, enabling citizens to monitor the activity of elected and appointed officials. Our goals are to reduce waste and mismanagement of public funds, and to improve the long-term welfare of shared community assets and public safety.

The site will:
  • Provide timely notice of upcoming meetings and agendas;
  • Archive videotaped meetings and minutes;
  • Enable people to participate in meetings they might otherwise miss by connecting with fellow citizens who can attend meetings;
  • Enhance accountability for financial decisions by posting budgets, spending proposals, contracts and voting records of public officials; and
  • Improve the governing process by facilitating the benchmarking of public programs among similar municipal or state bodies.

In the beginning, We The People Reports will post notices of upcoming civic meetings and archive - both in documents and audio/video file formats - agendas, minutes, voting records, financial reports and contracts for all citizens to see. As our capabilities expand, we aim to facilitate analysis and benchmarking to better inform the voting public and our elected officials about ways to improve budgeting and government.

"Whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their government, for whenever things go so far wrong as to attract their notice, they can be relied on to set things right."
- Thomas Jefferson
